Saikrupa Sakhar Karkhana Ltd is planning to set up a sugar unit and a distillery in Hiradgaon in Shrigonda Tehsil in Ahmednagar in Maharashtra with an investment of Rs. 3574 million. The project involves setting up of a sugar unit with a capacity of 7500 tcd and a molasses based distillery of 60 klpd and a cogeneration plant of capacity 40 MW.

Shri Vitthalsai Sahakari Sarkhar Kharkhana to set up a distillery unit in Murum in Omanabad district in Maharashtra at its existing sugar plant. The project involves setting up of a molasses, cane based 30 klpd distillery on continuous fermentation process. It will produce extra neutral alcohol and absolute alcohol and will operate for 270 days in a year. The existing land at the sugar mill is around 52.36 ha of which 7.24 ha will be used for the distillery.

Vitthalrao Shinde SSK plans distillery at Gangamainagar

Vitthalrao Shinde Sahakara Sakhar Karkhan plans distillery at Gangamainagar in Madha Taluk in Solapur district of Maharashtra. The project involves expanding molasses based distillery unit from 30 KLPD to 60 KLPD to produce Rectified Spirit (1800 Kolkatta/month) or Extra Neutral Alcohol (1800 Kolkatta/month) or Ethanol (1800 Kolkatta/month) and Fusel Oil (3.6 Kolkatta/month) based on continuous fermentation process. The distillery unit will operate for 270 days in a year and is attached to sugar unit of 3500 tcd capacity and another sister unit of 2500 tcd located 3.5 kms away from the site. The total project cost is estimated at Rs.. 280 million.
