Alpine Distilleries Pvt Ltd is planning to set up a distillery in Mahanad village in Polba Dadpur in Hooghly in West Bengal with an investment of Rs. 6020 million. The project involves setting up of a grain based distillery with a capacity of 60 klpd along with a 3.0 MW cogeneration power plant.

The project involves expanding its grain based distillery from 30 klpd to 60 klpd and increasing the power plant capacity from 16 MW to 42 MW, and sugar crushing capacity from 2500 tcd to 5000 tcd. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 930 million.
