Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs had approved the investment to set up National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management in Haryana. The institute is to be set up at Kundli in Haryana with an investment of Rs. 4791 million. The institute aims to be a global centre of excellence, integrating all facets of food science, technology, entrepreneurship, research and management. It will be recognised as the focal point for catalysing the growth of the food processing industries in India in the global context
