Kyundal India Pvt Ltd along with Bols Lucas has formed a joint-venture Bols Kyndal. The joint-venture will sell genuine grape based brandy in south India. It has already launched the brand Bols brandy in Karnataka where the response is good. It may be noted, the southern states account for 85 % of the 30 million litre brandy market in India. The company aims to garner around 5% of market share and will introduce Sobieski Vodka, Louis VIII Congac, Bowmore single Malts, Piper Heidsieck Champagne among other brands later.
