Vaidyanath Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd plans expansion of its distillery at village Pangri in Parali Taluk in Beed district of Maharashtra. The project involves expanding its grain based distillery from 30 klpd to 60 klpd using molasses or cane juice or grains as feedstock. While the molasses requirement will be 125 MTPD, sugar cane juice requirement will be 1960 MTPD and grains requirement will be 100 MTPD. The expansion will be carried out at its existing premises where there is 350 acres of land. The unit operate for 270 days in a year. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 250 million.

Globus Spirits Ltd is planning to expand and modernize its Shyampur distillery at Behrol Tehsil in Alwar district of Rajasthan. The project involves expanding existing grain based Distillery from 40 KLPD RS and 20 KLPD ENA to 100 KLPD RS / ENA. The new unit will operate for 330 days. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 350 million.

Radical Bio Organics Pvt Ltd is planning to set up a 60 klpd distillery in Jekkepally in Rangareddy district of Andhra Pradesh. The project involves setting up of a grain based 60 klpd distillery to produce Rectified Spirit / ENA / Ethanol / Alcohol / Industrial Alcohol based on Maize/Corn XE "Maize/Corn" , Sorghum XE "Sweet Sorghum" grain, Broken Rice and Starch Based Grain. It will also generate 2 MW power using waste. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 565.9 million.
