Anti-dumping duty slashed by USA for Sea-Food

In 2004, USA has levied a anti-dumping duty on sea-foods exported by India, Vietnam, Ecuador, China and Thailand. Now, after concerted efforts from Indian companies, US Department of Commerce has reduced country specific duty of 1.69 percent to 0.39 percent now after two rounds of administrative review. Over 170 companies engaged in sea-food exports will benefit now. Indian companies will also get handsome refund of duties paid earlier.
