Kunal Pabrai and Nishant Pabrai who run the ice cream business for 25 years under K &N Co from Kolkatta has launched a new flavour. Nalen Gur ice-cream is jaggery in liquid form and is made from the sap of the date palm or khajur tree; which is native to West Bengal. The finished ice cream has a texture which is not found in regular ice creams. The company markets its ice creams under 'Fresh and Naturelle'

Godrej Tyson Foods launches Chicken Kheema Paratha

Godrej Tyson launched Real Good Yummiez Chicken Kheema Paratha, the first of its kind in the frozen food category in India. It is launched at a introductory price of Rs. 75 for a 320 gm pack and will be sold at Rs. 97 for the same pack after launch. The company has a range of vegetarian meals, including Vegetarian Masala Nuggets, Cheese Corn Nuggets and Vegetarian Cheese Fingers. MTR launches Oats Upma

MTR, which has good presence in authentic Indian breakfast space has launched south Indian traditional recipe with oats - MTR Oats Upma. Described as Upma with the goodness of oats, the product has combined the traditional snack of Upma with 40% whole oats, according to a press release issued by the company. The product was extensively tested and found favourable is set for an all Indian launch.
