The new Kinfra Food Processing Park which has come up at Kakkencherry near Kozhikode is all set for inauguration. The park has 70 acres with facilities for an entrepreneur; a 90 year land lease, uninterrupted power supply, round-the-clock water supply with rain water harvesting etc., Around 16 units have started operations which include Parisons Foods,  Rime Rich Foods etc.,  The park will promote export of the state’s ethnic food. Another advantage of the food park is proximity to airport.
