Haritha Bio Products India Pvt Ltd plans 60 klpd grain based distillery at Parlapalli village in Timmapur Mandal in Karimnagar district of Andhra Pradesh with an investment of Rs. 521 million. The 60 klpd unit will produce Rectified spirit/ENA/Ethanol/Pharma grade alcohol/industrial alcohol and will consume 160 TPH of grains (maize, corn, sorghum grain, broken rice and starch based grains). The project also involves setting up of a 2 MW captive power generation unit.

Godavari Bio-refineries expands its distillery at Bagalkot

Godavari Bio-refineries Ltd expands its distillery at Sameervadi in Bagalkot district of Karnataka with an investment of Rs. 480 million. The project involves expanding existing sugar unit from 7500 tcd to 1500 tcd and captive power generation unit from 24 MW to 64 MW. The unit will operate for 270 day /year for molasses based operation and 300 days if it is on grain based operations. The raw material for the expanded capacity of 120 KLPD will be grains, cassava/Tapioca/sugar cane / Beet sugar juice/molasses.

Nuway Organic Naturals expands its distillery at Devinagar

Nuway Organic Naturals (India) Ltd expands its distillery at Devinagar in Rajpura Tehsil in Patiala district of Punjab with an investment of Rs. 400 million. The project involves expanding distillery unit capacity from 25 KLPD to 45 KLPD and change of spent wash treatment technology from Bio-methanation followed by secondary aeration followed by Ferti-irrigation to Decantation & evaporation. It will manufacture Rectified spirit (RS) Extra Neutral Alcohol ENA and blending and bottling of liquors. The expanded will consume now grains like broken rice, bajra, Jowar / (110-120 MTPD) or potatoes (180 MT) as raw materials.

Daund Sugar plans 45 klpd distillery at Daund

Daund Sugar plans 45 klpd distillery at Alegaon in Daund Taluka in Pune district of Maharashtra with an investment of Rs. 273.5 million. The project also involves setting up of a 18 MW power generation unit. The distillery unit will come up in an area of 7.77 ha in the existing 3500 tcd sugar complex. The unit will consume molasses (170 TPD), sulphuric acid (8.5 lts/day), nutrients (17 kg/day) and turkey red oil (48.5 kg/day).
