Naraingarh Distillery Ltd plans expansion of its distillery at Banondi in Shahzadpur in Naraingarh Tehsil in Ambala district of Haryana. The project involves expanding the capacity of distillery from 40 klpd to 60 klpd with an investment of Rs. 705 million. The unit will produce Rectified Spirit or Extra Neutral Alcohol, both for Country Liquor & IMFL Blending & Bottling operations. The expansion will be carried out at its existing premises. The unit will consume grains of 146 tpd and molasses of 290 tpd and will be in operation for 330 days in a year.

Radico NV Distilleries Maharashtra Ltd plans based distillery at Shendra in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra. The project involves setting up of a 60 klpd grain based distillery to manufacture extra Neutral Alcohol/ Rectified Spirit, Country Liquor and IMFL. The unit will consume grains 159 MTPD @58% w/w starch and chemicals like sulphuric acid, nutrient, antifoam, caustic, viscozyme, sachharifying enzyme, nutrase, enzyme, Liquezyme etc., The unit will operate for 300 days a year.

The project also involves setting up of a captive power generation unit of 2.5 MW. Land required for the project is around 25 acres.
