Gadhinglaj Agro Alcochem is planning to set up a distillery in Beradwadi village in Gadhinglaj Tehsil in Kolhapur district in Maharashtra. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce 45 klpd grain based distillery with an investment of Rs. 482.7 million. The distillery will produce rectified spirit and extra neutral alchohol.

The project cost is estimated at Rs. 700 million. The project also involves setting up of 2 MW cogen power plant. The plant will consume 1.25 MW and the rest will be exported to power grid.

Total power requirement is 3000 KW. DG set (1x1250 KVA and 1x 750 KVA) will be installed.
