India Glycols Ltd is planning to set up a Ethanol plant from Lignocellulosic Biomass Pilot Plant in Bazpur in Kashipur district of Uttaranchal. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 100 million. The company of the plant will be 10 mtpd and the technology for the plant is acquired from DBT-ICT Centre for Energy Biosciences, Mumbai.
Kala Amb Distillery and Breweries Pvt Ltd is planning to set up a distillery in Bhanglan in Nalagarh Tehsil in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The project involves setting up of a 45 klpd grain based distillery and a captive power generation unit of 1.2 MW.
Laila Sugars Ltd is planning to set up a distillery in Kuppatgiri, Doddhasur, Baloga and Mansapur villages in Khanpur Tehsil in Belgaum district of Karnataka. The project involves expanding its sugar unit from 2500 tcd to 5000 tcd, setting up of a captive power plant 24 MW to 30 MW, increasing the distillery capacity from 30 klpd to 60 klpd. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 2200 million.
Lokmangal Sugar Ethanol & Cogneration Industries Ltd is planning to expand its sugar plant in Bhandarkavathe in South Solapur Tehsil in Solapur of Maharashtra. The project involves expanding sugar mill from 2500 tcd to 6000 tcd and increasing the existing power plant capacity from 15 MW to 31.5 MW with an investment of Rs. 1713.1 million.
