DSM Chemicals to expand its distillery at Dhampur


DSM Chemicals (a unit of Dhampur Sugar Mills) to expand its distillery at village Alhaipur in Dhampur in Uttar Pradesh. The project involves expanding its existing distillery capacity from 100 klpd to 200 klpd to produce Rectified spirit/ Extra neutral alcohol/ Absolute alcohol. Company has already acquired 40.0 acres of land for proposed distillery. The unit will install bio-methanation and reverse osmosis plant for spent wash treatment. It is proposed to install bio gas and bagasse fired boiler of 70 TPH capacity for steam generation.  The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 300 million.

Bajaj Hindustan Sugar & Industries to set up a distillery at Itaimaida


Bajaj Hindustan Sugar & Industries to set up a distillery at Itaimaida in Utraula Taluk in Block Shriduttganj in Balrmpur district of Uttar Pradesh. The project involves setting up of 160 KLPD Distillery unit for production of Rectified spirit/Extra neutral alcohol/Absolute alcohol. Company has already acquired 70.0 acres of land for the proposed distillery. The unit will install bio-methanation and reverse osmosis plant for spent wash treatment. It is proposed to install bio gas and bagasse fired boiler of 30 TPH capacity for steam generation.  The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 800 million.

United Spirit to expand its distillery unit at Matysa in Alwar


United Spirit to expand its distillery unit at Matysa Industrial Area in Alwar district of Rajasthan. The project involves expanding the distillery unit from existing 4 KLPD Malt Spirit to 8 KLPD Malt Spirit production and IMFL bottling from 4000c/s per day to 8000 c/s per day. The unit will be in operation for 330 days in a year. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 45 million.

Rusni Distilleries to set up 40 KLPD grain based in Medak


Rusni Distilleries to set up 40 KLPD (Sweet Sorghum, maize and sweet sorghum syrup) grain based at Mohammad Shapur Village, Sangareddy  Mandal in Medak district of Andhra Pradesh. The project also involves setting up of  a 0.8 cogeneration power plant. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 190 million.
