Maurya Sugar to set up cane based distillery unit at Chanpattia


Maurya Sugar to set up cane based distillery unit at village Gurwalia Biswas  in Chanpattia Block in Betiah tehsil in West Champaran district of Bihar.  The project involves setting up of molasses / cane juice based 120 KLPD Distillery unit for production of RS/ENA/AA , 7500 TCD Sugar unit  and 25 MW  Co-generation Plant . The molasses based and cane juice based unit will operate for 180 days and 150 days respectively in a year. The total land area acquired for the project is  80 acres of which 43 acres for plant & infrastructure, 26 acres for green belt development and 11 acres for bio-composting.   The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 3200 million.

Agave Industries to set up Micro distillery unit at Pedda Thippa Samudram village in Kondiahgari
Palle in Chitoor district of Andhra Pradesh.  The project involves setting up of
micro distillery of capacity 07 KLPD for manufacturing Potable Agave spirit from Agave Americana Stems (Pinas), known as Tequila. Agave Americana Stems will be processed to produce sweet Agave Juice which will be sold to AIIPL with a full buyback agreement.  Total area of the plant will be 44.00 acres. The total cost of the project will be Rs. 450.00 lacs.  

Aroma Biotech to set up grain based distillery at Nallajerla

Aroma Biotech to set up grain based distillery at Avapadu village in Nallajerla Mandal in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The project involves setting up of Grain based 60 KLPD distillery along with 1.5 MW Captive Power Plant and 1 KLPD Malt Spirit Plant to manufacture Rectified Spirit/Extra Neutral Alcohol/Ethanol. Maize, sorghum, bajra and broken rice will be used as raw materials. Land requirement for the project is around 43.69 acres and investment is estimated at Rs. 525 million.

Nava Bharat Ventures to expand its distillery unit at Dharmavaram


Nava Bharat Ventures to expand its distillery unit at Dharmavaram Prathipadu mandal in East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh.  The project involves setting up of  a distillery unit of 45 KLPD capacity to produce rectified spirit/Extra Neutral Alcohol/Ethanol. Spent wash generation will be at the rate of 10 kl/ kl of alcohol produced. It is proposed to adopt continuous fermentation technology. Spent wash will be concentrated in the Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE) and concentrated spent wash incinerated in the boiler. The  steam generated from the boiler, fired on bagasse and coal will be used for power generation by installation of turbine generator. It is proposed to install 100TPH boiler fired on bagasse /imported coal and 15 TPH boiler fired on concentrated spent wash. Solid waste will be generated in the form of yeast sludge (4.0 TPD) which will be incinerated in the boiler and boiler ash (19.6 TPD) when fired on baggase will be used as manure and 38.7 TPD of ash fired on coal will be provided to the brick manufacturers. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 1230 million.
