GMR Industries to set up 50 klpd distillery unit at Haliyal

GMR Industries to set up 50 klpd distillery unit at Hulatti Village, Haliyal Taluka in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka. It will manufacture Rectified Spirit/Ethanol/ENA and the Distillery will operate for 300 days in a year. Molasses requirement will be met from company’s own sugar unit of 3500 TCD. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 1385 million.
