Mysore Milk Fed plans expansion programme

Mysore and Chamrajnagar Milk Federation chalks out an expansion programme to become a mega dairy by 2020 by introducing new milk products and by increasing its milk production. It will increase its milk production from 1,80,000 kg/day to 500,000 kg/day in 2015. It has been recently awarded a contract from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam and Kottakal Arya Vaidyashala for supply of ghee. It is also planning to set up a cold storage in the border locations.
