Ghodganga Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana to set up distillery at at Rao Saheb Nagar in Nhavare in Shirur in Pune district in Maharashtra with an investment of Rs. 99.5 million. The project involves setting up of 30 KLPD Molasses based distillery unit for production of 30 KLPD of Rectified Spirit or 27 KLPD of Extra Neutral Alcohol or of 27.5 KLPD Absolute Alcohol. The unit was established in 1990 having sugar unit of 2,500 TCD crushing capacity. Now, the company have proposed to establish distillery unit within the same premises adopting continuous fermentation process.
