Lokmanya Sakhar Udyog is setting up a sugar manufacturing unit in Kapashi in Satara district in Maharashtra with an
investment of Rs. 1800 million. The plant will have a capacity of 3500 tcd and will also have a 30 klpd distillery and a 16 MW
cogen plant. The project is likely to go operational in March 2012.
