Vadilal, the second largest ice cream player had doubled its production capacity at its Barielly plant in Uttar Pradesh. Currently, the plant capacity stands at 1.75 lakh litres per day. The plant procures milk locally from farmers and has infrastructure to store and convert milk. The company has over 150 flavours and has 10000 point of sale in northern India and is adding 3000 outlets in Uttar Pradesh.
