Cheyyar Co-Op. Sugar Mills Ltd plans to set up a 45 klpd distillery at Anakkavoor – Therthandalam village in Cheyyar Taluk in Thiruvannamalai district of Tamil Nadu. The unit will produce 45 KLPD of rectified spirit and 40.8 KLPD of anhydrous alcohol based on continuous fermentation process. The unit will operate for 270 days in a year and is estimated to cost Rs.360 million.
