Nira-Bhima Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana to set up a distillery at Shahajinagar in Pune district in Maharashtra with an investment of Rs. 275.2 million. The project involves setting up of molasses based 30 KLPD distillery which is attached to sugar unit of 2500 tcd capacity. The distillery will operate for 270 days in a year.
