Chandrabhaga Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana to set up 30 KLPD Cane distillery at village Bhalwani Salwadi in Pandharpur taluk in Solapur district of Maharashtra with an investment of Rs. 199 million. The unit will be set up within the 2500 TCD sugar plant for which 15 Acres of area has been acquired. Distillation plant is based on multi-product distillation with continuous fermentation technology. Water requirement of 400 m3/d will be met from the River Bhima. The spent wash will be concentrated in the re-boiler. The concentrated spent wash (210m3/d) will be composted with press mud. Molasses and press mud requirement will be met from the company’s own sugar unit of 2500 TCD capacity. The unit will be in operation of 180 days.
