NSL Sugars, a group company of Nuziveedu Seeds had set up a sugar mill at Kothapeta Mandal in Mahaboobnagar district of Andhra Pradesh. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 3500 million. It will also generate 28 MW of power using cogeneration, and 45000 liters of ethanol besides having a sugar crushing capacity of 3500 tcd. The company also plans to increase its sugar crushing capacity to 5000 tcd.
