Indian Potash Ltd to expand sugar plant capacity

Indian Potash Ltd, which has diversified into sugar with purchase of sugar mills from the UP State Corp is planning to expand it further. It has bought the sugar mills at Rs.650 million and will invest now Rs.10000 million to modernize them and expand their capacities. Currently, the acquired mills have 5000 tcd capacity and it plans to increase it to 20000 tcd either by acquisition of new mills or by expansion.
