Food Karnataka Ltd to set up food park in Ittangihala in Bijapur

Karnataka government is planning to set up a food processing park in Ittangihala village Bijapur. The park is expected to process banana, citrus fruits, pomegranate, grape ( for wines) and other traditional curry powders. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 238 million and is expected to be commissioned by 2012. The company Food Karnataka Ltd may opt to fund the project by viability gap funding.
