Gem Sugar Ltd is planning to set up a 60 klpd grain based distillery at its existing sugar mill in Kundargi village in Bilagi Taluk in Bagalkot district of Karnataka. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 700 million. The project also involves setting up of 2 MW cogen power plant. The plant will consume 1.25 MW and the rest will be exported to power grid.
