HPCL Biofuels to set up 60 klpd distillery in Lauriya

HPCL Biofuels is planning to set up a 60 klpd ethanol plant in Lauriya village in West Champaran district of Bihar with an investment of Rs. 3043 million. The project also involves setting up of 20 MW cogeneration plant. The ethanol plant will operate on with mixed juice and molasses from the distillery and will adopt continuous fermentation technology. The plant will operate for 270 days in a year.
