Nestle plans noodles plant expansion in Nanjangud

Nestle India, the leading noodles producer which owns the brand “Maggi” is planning to set up a new unit in south. It has signed an MoU recently in the global investors meet in Karnataka. It is likely to invest Rs.3490 million to set manufacturing facility in Nanjangud near Mysore in Karnataka to produce noodles, condiments and seasonings. Currently, the company has seven plants – Samalkha in Haryana, Ponda and Bicholim in Goa, Moga in Punjab and Choladi in Tamil Nadu.
