Ramanasree Consumer Products launches sunflower oil brand ‘Vashi’

Ramanasree Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL) a sister company of Ramanashree Logistics is planning to invest Rs.1000 million to venture into FMCG products. It is launching sunflower oil under the brand’Vashi’ and it will be available in southern states of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. It will be made available in 1 litre pouch and a 5 litre PET bottle. The brand is promoted with the USP –enriched with vitamins A, D and E, apart from dimethyl polysiloxane (which will help less absorption). It will also be cheapr than other branded products. After establishing the brand, the company may move to other consumer products like iodized salt, atta, coconut oil etc.,
