Nandi Sahakari Sakkare Karkhane Niyamit  to expand sugar plant at Krishnanagar in Bijapur taluk in Karnataka. The project involves expanding 3500 to 6500 TCD and Installation of new  50 KLPD Distillery unit.  The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 417 million.

Core Green Sugars to set up Integrated sugar complex with 5000 TCD sugar plant in village Tumkur in Shahpur district of Gulbarga. The project involves setting up of Core Green Sugars to set up Integrated sugar complex with 5000 TCD sugar plant, 24 MW Co-Generation Power plant and 50 KLPD  Distillery. The sugar unit will operate for 210 days and distillery will operate for 270 days. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 3000 million.  It may be noted, Rivers Krishna and Bhima flow at a distance of 4 km in South and 10 km in North respectively. The spent wash after bio-methanation will be concentrated in the multi effect falling film evaporator to reduce its concentration. The concentrated spent wash will be composted with press mud to achieve zero discharge.

Bajaj Hindustan to set up a sugar unit at Maqusadapur


Bajaj Hindustan to set up a sugar unit at Maqusadapur in Shajahanpur of Uttar Pradesh. The project also involves setting up of  a new 10,000 TCD Sugar Cane based Sugar Plant along with 21 MW Co-generation Power Plant. Around 37 acres of land has been already acquired. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 1800 million.

The company is also setting up a 10,000 TCD Sugar Plant with 21 MW Co-Generation Power Plant at Athdama Rudauli, Basti in Uttar Pradesh. Around 61 acres had been acquired for this project and the project cost is estimated at Rs.1732 million.

It also plans 15,000 TCD Sugar Plant with 48 MW Co-generation Power Plant at Kundarki, Gonda in Uttar Pradesh with an investment of Rs. 3680 million. The project will have 4 bagasse fired boilers of 90 TPH to generate steam, where the bagasse shall be used as fuel. The exhaust steam from the boilers will be used for the process. Power requirement of 48 MW would be met from the steam turbines.

 

 

Andhra Sugars to expand its sugar unit at Surappagudem


Andhra Sugars to expand its sugar unit at Surappagudem in Bhimadole mandal in West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh from 1600 to 6000 TCD. The company also plans to expand its captive power plant from 4 MW to 31 MW. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 450 million. The bagasse (1760 TPD) generated in juice extraction process will be used as fuel in the boiler of CPP.  The excess bagasse is stored for off season power generation.  The filter cake (255 TPD) will be sold to distillery unit and the boiler ash (19.8 TPD) generated will be sold to brick manufacturers
