Tamil Nadu government is planning to set up 13 fish processing park in the state. Initially, it will set up parks in Cuddalore and Nagapattinam coastal district of the state with an investment of Rs. 370 million. The move is to save wastage in fish due to unhygenic storage and practices. The park will be set up under public-private partnership basis.
