Sar Senapti Santaji Ghorpade Sugar Factory Ltd is planning to set up a molasses based distillery with a capacity 30 klpd in Belewadi-Kalamma in Kagal Tehsil in Kolhapur district of Maharashtra. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce sugar (3500 tcd) and a captive power generation unit of 22 MW. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 2597.2 million.
