Cox India Ltd is planning to set up a grain/molasses based distillery in Nowgong Tehsil in Chhatrapur district of Madhya Pradesh. The project involves setting up of a 60 klpd distillery and a 1 MW cogen power plant. Products to be manufactured are industrial alcohol, rectified spirit & Indian made foreign Liquor (IMFL). The project cost is estimated at Rs. 200 million.
Dayal Beverages Ltd is planning to set up a distillery in Tapri village in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. The project involves setting up of a molasses based distillery with a capacity of 60 klpd with an investment of Rs. 800 million. Molasses will be sourced from nearby sugar mills as raw materials.
Esvee Breweries Ltd is planning to set up a distillery in Manpur village in Namchi Tehsil in South Sikkhim district of Sikkhim. The project involves setting up of grain based distillery with a capacity of 602 klpd to produce neutral alcohol, absolute alcohol (30 klpd) and rectified spirit. The project also involves setting up a cogen power plant of 3.5 MW. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 790 million.
Fortune Spirit Ltd is planning to set up a distillery in Machia village in Kamakhya Nagar in Dhenkanal district of Orissa. The project involves setting up of a grain based 60 klpd distillery along with 2.5 captive power plant with an investment of Rs. 559.5 million. Total land acquired is 21.5 acres
