Danone -Narang to launch a new beverage-B'lue-water based restorative drink

Danone and Narang Beverages is planning to launch a new beverage - 'B'lue' a water based restorative drink. The drink will be made available with natural identical flavours like grape and guava fortified with minerals, vitamins and aroma. The beverage will be made at Puspam Foods, where the company has invested in a new bottling line. Currently, the beverage is being test marketed in Pune.

Coca Cola to set up a bottling plant in Yadgir in Karnataka

Coca Cola, which has 48% of its market share coming from south is planning to set up a manufacturing base in south. It is currently negotiating with Karnataka government for allotment of land in Yadgir district of Karnataka. The investments will spread over a period of 5 years. It will be a fruit based drinks plant considering the huge demand from PET based segments. Currently, the company has 52 bottling plants of which 25 is owned by the company and the rest are franchise owned.

Britannia launches Tiger ZorChoco milk

Britannia Industries Ltd, the leading biscuit player has ventured into dairy products few years back. It is now launching a health drink for kids under its brand ‘Tiger’. The new product is a 150 ml chocolate flavoured milk available in convenient packs. It can be taken at ambient temperature though it tastes best when chilled. It also has a shelf life of 4 months and is expected to create a category for itself. Currently, it is launched in Hyderabad
